Central Coquitlam is a huge area that resides a large number of people, and with that means a ton of restaurants and businesses as well! Austin Avenue is a main road that from east to west consists of various restaurants, a Safeway grocer, multiple 7/11’s, banks, liquor stores, pubs, and much more. Because Central Coquitlam is smack dab in the middle of the city, you’re only a quick drive to both Lougheed mall and Coquitlam centre mall as well as the local Coquitlam VIP cinemas (movie theatre). Central Coquitlam is also home to a variety of parks such as Blue Mountain Park and Mundy Park, which have everything from dog parks to baseball fields and running trails. For golfer’s there is also the Vancouver Golf Club off of Austin which has hosted the Canadian Pacific Women’s Open. Regardless of whether you go north, south, east, or west, you won’t be short of things to do.
